Ian Wickersham and co-PIs Robert Desimone (McGovern Institute, MIT), Li-Huei Tsai (Picower Institute, MIT), and Kay Tye (Picower Institute, MIT) have been awarded an NIH BRAIN Initiative grant. The project is to develop “Novel Technologies For Nontoxic Transsynaptic Tracing”.
Additionally, Ian is a co-PI on a team led by Mriganka Sur (Picower Institute, MIT), with Kwanghun Chung (Picower Institute, MIT) and Emery Brown (MIT Department of Brain & Cognitive Sciences) also as co-PIs, that has also been awarded an NIH BRAIN Initiative grant. The project is to determine the organization and operation of “Cortical Circuits And Information Flow During Memory-Guided Perceptual Decisions”.
