Ian Wickersham and co-PIs Robert Desimone (McGovern Institute, MIT), Li-Huei Tsai (Picower Institute, MIT), and Kay Tye (Picower Institute, MIT) have been awarded an NIH BRAIN Initiative grant. The project is to develop “Novel Technologies For Nontoxic Transsynaptic Tracing”.

​Additionally, Ian is a co-PI on a team led by Mriganka Sur (Picower Institute, MIT), with Kwanghun Chung (Picower Institute, MIT) and Emery Brown (MIT Department of Brain & Cognitive Sciences) also as co-PIs, that has also been awarded an NIH BRAIN Initiative grant. The project is to determine the organization and operation of “Cortical Circuits And Information Flow During Memory-Guided Perceptual Decisions”.
